Anyone who has spent more than a day in the sultry heat of Cartagena, knows how important it is to leave the city and hit the beach as soon as you can. At just 25 minutes from town, this is a great option. She's also a B Corp - so it's guilt free all around.
Our sister Blue Apple was inspired by beach clubs in Ibiza and the Côte d'Azur and then we threw in some Colombian magic. During the week it's relaxed, with background music all day. On weekends and holidays a DJ plays from 1pm - 5pm. We mostly listen to house, electro, latin, afro, soul and disco.
HOW IT WORKS
Tierra Bomba island is around 25 minutes from Cartagena by boat. You can get there in your own boat, get a water taxi or buy a daypass and come in the Blue Apple shuttle.

Blue Apple offers full day access, or also welcomes guests for lunch. You can even stop by for a drink on the way back from the Rosario islands.
​
You do not need to purchase a day pass to enjoy the restaurant but we recommend reserving your table.

Blue Apple is also a hotel, with 11 rooms. At night when all the day trippers leave, you'll feel like royalty.
With a beach club, PADI scuba diving centre, horse riding, massages and more, it's well worth spending a couple of nights here.
