To us, it's arts with an s. Not just painting, but singing, dancing, photographing, generally doing things that serve no purpose other than the sheer joy of doing, consuming, viewing, experiencing.  The arts, like life, are the most important thing there is and it are also completely pointless. Mostly, they're really, really fun.

Whether the al frescos on our room walls, the paintings people have left us instead of paying the bill, the DJ on our rooftop, the jazz band downstairs, the lady taking her clothes off in the most creative way, chef arranging his beets on a plate. Life is better when it looks good, sounds good. And creative folk are sexy to have around.
